Participants will learn about innovation maturity models, with the focus on measuring the five distinct areas 1) Impulses for innovation, 2) Idea generation, 3) Idea implementation, 4) Innovation organisation, and 5) Innovation culture. The impact of hierarchy and respect for authority on innovation maturity in Asian corporate culture is also discussed, along with strategies for promoting innovation within hierarchical environments.

3. Design Thinking Approaches
This section introduces design thinking principles and their role in innovation impulses and idea generation. Case studies to highlight Design Thinking successes and challenges are discussed in the light of the maturity assessment model.
